The dedicated stroller spaces allow bus riders with young children to board without having to fold their strollers first

Metro and D.C. leaders held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil its new state-of-the-art Metrorail headquarters building in Southwest D.C. Thursday.

The new entrance features a 15-foot wide stairway and elevator with access to the shuttle to Grand Central Terminal.

“I’d love to see any of you try to park a wheelchair with strollers, shopping carts, bags in the way," one wheelchair user said.
