中市中清路牛埔橋改建 提早9個月完工通車 - 生活

台中市西屯中清路牛埔橋橫跨港尾子溪，過去因颱風降豪大雨導致溪水暴漲，水漫牛埔橋影響交通，市府向中央水利署爭取到1.66億餘元進行牛埔橋改建，將橋長17公尺延長至27公尺，原本明年6月才能完工，因當地靠近國道1號，建設局改變工法及日夜施工，今天提早9個月通車，市長盧秀燕今天主持通車典禮表示，即日起民眾不再繞路，可暢行中清路，也因溪面拓寬，可降低當地遇颱風就淹水的苦楚。中清路牛埔橋橫跨港尾子溪，但因河道寬度不足，且橋齡老舊，於1967年興建，時常淹水，而牛埔橋位於國道1號及市區的重要道路，一旦淹水，不但當地民眾面臨水患之苦，也讓要上下中清交流道的車輛無法行駛。
