Following the hundreds of thousands of people who saw first-hand at the NFL Draft how pretty the city of Detroit truly is, the drive to make a difference in the Motor City is full speed ahead.
Michael Battle was born and raised in the Detroit neighborhood we visited today, and out of all the transformations he has seen in the last 50 years this is one of his favorites.
"The investment that the mayor was laser-focused on, (was) in the neighborhoods," said Ray Solomon, City of Detroit, Department of Neighborhoods. "He was laser-focused on blight, illegal dumping opening abandoned houses."
