Residents have reported problems ranging from collapsed pathways to missing sections, seriously threatening public safety and accessibility. The Bengaluru NavaNirmana Party (BNP) has called for immediate footpath repairs in various areas, including Sarjapur Road near the bus stop, Trinity Acres and Woods Apartment in Bellandur, and Shubh Enclave on Harlur Road.

Lack of lights is another problem for the people who visit the lake in the evening. Though the entry to the lake is closed by 7 pm, the residents want the BBMP Lakes Department to install lights and keep the lake bund free from weeds.
