On Saturday, Dec. 17, all are invited to a retelling of the Christmas Story with songs at a joint celebration with Kingdom Advancement Center and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

Volunteers serve food for needy families every day in the basement of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Elgin. A startlingly multicultural collection of local churches and civic groups use the kitchen to help those in need.

On Tuesday, Aug. 2, Holy Trinity Elgin will join Congregation Kneseth Israel and The Kingdom Advancement Center for a neighborhood get-together for National Night Out.
