On Saturday 730 women participated in Power of the Purse, an opportunity to support United Way and a good excuse for a girls night out.

Power of the Purse is March 5, a United Way fundraiser for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and the other 25 local nonprofits they support.

The Daily Reporter Bronson Polish Festival is one of the longest running community celebrations in the area. Is it because of the polka music blaring downtown all weekend or the parade on Saturday?
