The Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation’s latest round of grant funding will support local organizations specifically geared toward serving vulnerable youth and their mental health.
Jean Ikeda took over from Carol Olson, who announced earlier this year that she would be leaving after leading the organization since 2019. The nonprofit recruits and trains volunteers to work with students in local schools.
Los Altos-based nonprofit Mentor Tutor Connection provides hundreds of local students with mentors and tutoring each year, helping to ensure that they have caring adults invested in their future.
