Indian Twitter celebrates as Elon Musk starts paying users their ad revenues.

Twitter has begun paying verified creators a portion of the advertising revenue generated in post replies, and the money is substantial.

Twitter explains the Ads Revenue Sharing programme is rolling out to an "initial group" who will be invited to accept payment. To sign up for the programme, users will need to be subscribed to Twitter Blue or Verified Organisations.

Earlier reports have suggested that Musk has terminated the executives “for cause” which could give him a chance to evade the payment.

Twitter has proactively logged out users due to a bug that prevented them from logging out across their devices during a password reset.
