The #2 Ellsworth Eagles defeated the #7 Cony Rams 11-1Thursday morning, June 9th in the Class B Softball Quarterfinals. The game was stopped in the 5th inning because of the 10-run rule. Ellsworth Senior Tyler Hellum tossed a no-hitter on Monday afternoon, June 6th as the #2 Ellsworth Eagles defeated the #15 Caribou Vikings 15-0 in a 5-inning run-ruled playoff game at Ellsworth High School.

For the 1st time in what seems like forever the MDI Trojans Softball Team beat the Ellsworth Eagles in both games during the regular season. On Wednesday, June 1st the Trojans beat the Eagles 3-2 in Bar Harbor. They had won the previous match-up 3-2 in Ellsworth on May 20th.

The Ellsworth Eagle's Softball Team woke up Saturday morning ready to hit! They traveled to Dover-Foxcroft to play the Foxcroft Academy Ponies winning 17-2 in 5 innings (run-ruled) banging out 22 hits in the game.

The Ellsworth Girl's Softball Team celebrated Senior Recognition Day and beat the Hermon Hawks 4-2 on Friday afternoon, May 27th in Ellsworth.
