Eugene Water and Electric Board officials said that power has been restored for more than 90% of its customers who lost power at the peak of last weeks ice storm.

EWEB said work crews are able to bring back power back to the McKenzie River Valley since transmission lines were reenergized by the Bonneville Power Administration on Thursday.

Eugene Water and Electric Board crews are working as fast as possible to restore power, but it will still take some time.

EWEB officials said power was restored to the Hayden Bridge Water Filtration Plant as of Monday evening and the utility provider is preparing for more outages.

The Eugene Water and Electric Board said their crews are working to ensure Eugenes water treatment plant has power as another ice storm approaches.
