Tyner Middle School News Today

In August 2021, Tyner Academy students staged a walkout to protest the schools poor conditions. But a year and a half later, students walked out for a different reason: to celebrate the construction of a brand new building.

The Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences is getting a new principal, Robert Alford, who has served in that role at Hunter Middle School since 2008.
