SPRING VALLEY —  Jesse Robles was appointed Dec. 8 to fill a vacant seat on the board of the San Miguel Consolidated Fire District, the county’s largest fire district. Robles was one of two people who applied to represent Area 6, the part of East County that covers La Presa and Spring Valley.
