With Congress back in session, many are waiting patiently to see if or what gets done with regards to a new Farm Bill. Tyson Redpath, Principal with the Russell Group, says it won’t be easy, but it is doable!

Lawmakers have given themselves another year to write a new farm bill, but they have a limited amount of time to reach bipartisan agreements on critical issues and could easily be forced to pass another long-term extension of the 2018 law.

John Hoeven, the top Republican on the Senate Agriculture Appropriations subcommittee, joined Agri-Pulse Newsmakers this week to talk about some of the different funding areas he sees necessary for the upcoming farm bill.
