Over 300,000 drivers in Bangladesh have earned via the Uber app in 2023, according to an annual report by Uber. As per the ride-sharing platform, there were over 6 million Uber passengers in Bangladesh, with December 21 and December 28 being the most popular dates for trips.

The report highlights staggering figures, with a record 6.8 billion kilometres covered by Uber trips in India throughout the year.

Uber Auto, a three-wheeler service provided by the company, has become a major hit in India making it easier for travellers to hail a ride without having to haggle for prices.

According to Uber, its driver-partners have driven a total of 3,300 crore kilometers since the company launched in India in 2013. This is equivalent to travelling from Earth to the Moon about 86,000 times
