Gunmen suspected to be herdsmen numbering more than 150 have reportedly attacked Agojeju-odo in the Bagaji-Odoh District of Omala Local Government Area of Kogi State. The assailants reportedly killed four persons. This was made known on Wednesday in Lokoja, Kogi State capital by the member of Kogi State House of Assembly representing Omala State Constituency, Umar Yahaya.

The dead body of an 11-year-old boy was on Saturday found hanging in his family compound at the Federal Housing Estate, Kubwa, in Nigeria's Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. The deceased was a Junior Secondary School 2 pupil. Daily Trust reports that the father of the deceased, Umar Yahaya told City & Crime that he and the mother of the deceased boy (his wife), were not at home when the incident happened. It was their neighbours who found the boy dangling from an overhead tank.
