Im alyana gomez. The childs body was found inside a home on darek drive in santa rosa. What we are now learning about the investigation. Reporter the child and adult were found right here inside this home on darek drive just before 1 00 this afternoon. Tonight, investigators are still trying to piece together exactly what happened. The pain and anguish was clearly visible as these women consoled each other outside the home on darek drive. Police say a woman went to the home saturday afternoon to check on the occupants and discovered the man and child. Medical personnel were on the scene and immediately began performing lifesaving efforts but unfortunately, the child ended up passing away from injuries. Reporter police say the 13 monthold boy was found next to an unconscious 29yearold male oneill. There are no signs of serious physical trauma to the child.
