Obviously not summer and were seeing a little bit of cloud cover to the west sea of japan, north and south korea. all of thats going to sweep across the sea of japan. you can expect scattered showers. the highest elevations of japan, might see some snow, possibly fresh snow on mt. fuji. very chilly for people. in fact, if you look at the temperatures, high temperatures, both in fahrenheit and celsius, mainly into the mid-40s through monday and tuesday. rain moves out, drier air in from the west....

Tomorrow as well looking at highs in the 50s, upper 30s across new england, that is going to help the snow begin to melt aggravating the problems here with the localized flooding and flood warnings posted up across the northeast. i also want to point out we are starting to watch another storm system that is going to develop across the southeast and track into the northeast bringing in rain for us as we head into wednesday and thursday. that is not what we want to hear. >> geraldo: the flood grap...

We are watching the river here at little falls new jersey just about to crest in the next hour or so at 11.9 feet. flood stage is 7 feet so we are talking about way above flood stage throughout. major stage actually is what it is considered. this is a river gage showing the water level. the line in blue is what we observed and the line in green showing what is forecast. it is forecast to slowly recede as we head to the next couple of days and by tuesday at a regular flood stage. what the differe...
