Boulder city staff are preparing to update the City Council this Thursday on key flood mitigation projects in progress in the city.

Boulder City Council approved the flood mitigation plan on May 18. Since that announcement, there has been mounting concern from the community about the damage this would cause to the surrounding environment, wildlife, and private properties in the area.

Boulder will host a community meeting Wednesday evening on the Upper Goose and Twomile Canyon Creek flood mitigation project.
