ALBANY - Richard-Olivier Marius is still in the running in the Sixth Ward.
An Albany County Supreme Court judge ruled that Marius could remain the fourth candidate on the ballot for the Democratic line in the Sixth Ward.
Marius, who is running against Jeff Mayo, Susan Pedo and Gabriella Romero in the Democratic primary, had his petitions challenged last month on two grounds. The first issue was that he did not specifically write 'Ward 6' on his petitions where it asked what position he was running for. The second was that he did not include the geographic description, 'Albany,' on them either.
