Detroit Lakes' Bucks Mill Brewing will begin hosting Charity Pint Nights on Thursday, Sept. 21, as a fundraising opportunity for local nonprofits. This week, it's Project 412's turn.

Detroit Lakes' newest nonprofit, Project 412, will lead off the 87th Northwest Water Carnival's signature parade, which starts at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 23.

Eighteen competitors played in the inaugural Kegs and Pegs cribbage tournament, a part of Polar Fest 2023, at Bucks Mill Brewing in Detroit Lakes on Feb. 13.

Bucks Mill Brewing held its grand opening on Friday, Sept. 2. Detroit Lakes' new hot spot has seven beers on tap — with more on the way — along with a mango-flavored hard seltzer and non-alcoholic options including a house-made root beer and two flavors of kombucha.

A total of 198 students received their diplomas in a ceremony held Sunday, May 22.

After signing their lease on Feb. 1, Bucks Mill Brewery finally has its location in the former Homestyle Crafts and Fabrics store on Washington Avenue, and connected to the Washington Square Mall, in Detroit Lakes. The brewery founders said they want their new space to be family-friendly with a game room, and other amenities, but also the best place in town for beer.
