AN Andover-based community garden group has won an RHS award for their newly established Poppy Garden in Augusta Park.

The Irish J1 visa agency USIT has issued an apology as applicants air their frustrations about delays and lack of communication as the summer nears. The J1 visa programme allows Irish college students to live and work in the US for the summer and is viewed by many as a rite of passage.

Many of the company’s customers are still waiting for their visas, with their flight dates just weeks away.
