Gautam Cheema said Kricpy Khera could not have gone abroad as her passport valid up to 2025 had also been mentioned vide the wireless message to the International Airport Authorities and the Sea Ports in India from the office of the DSP, Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Chandigarh.

The court had framed charges against IGP Gautam Cheema on May 3.

Earlier, the prosecution argued that there was prima facie case made out against the accused Gautam Cheema, Ajay Choudhary, Rashmi Negi, Vicky Verma, Aryan Singh and Varun Utreja for commission of offences and therefore charges be framed accordingly.
