The annual BDAA Slavic Festival Concert brings together international musicians to perform Slavic folk music, including Ukrainian, Eastern European, Romani, and Klezmer musical traditions on authentic folk instruments such as balalaika, domra, and bayan. A portion of the concert proceeds will be donated to Ukrainian relief efforts. We will also collect additional donations to support Ukraine during the performance.

The UW Russian Folk Orchestra is a unique ensemble performing Russian and other East-European folk music on authentic instruments since 1997. The ensemble, founded and directed by Victor Gorodinsky, is comprised of UW faculty, staff, and students, as well as members of the community.
