What started as a rumor at a Lehi middle school led to a student being found with a firearm in their backpack Monday.

A 12-year-old Lehi girl is home after spending nearly two months in the hospital fighting a deadly type of bacteria that is resistant to several antibiotics.

The district wants to identify which schools are overcrowded and then rebalance where students are drawn from to ensure fully utilized classrooms.
