"There are immense opportunities in the packaged food industry in India which is growing rapidly at 20-25 per cent. The funding partnership with Aavishkaar Capital will help Go DESi strengthen its product portfolio, accelerate marketing, rapidly scale our geographic focus and expand our distribution reach," Vinay Kothari, Founder, Go DESi, said.

Bengaluru-based startup Go Desi secured Rs 41 crore in equity investment from Aavishkaar Capital for business expansion. The Series B round involved DSG Consumer, Rukam Capital, and Roots Ventures, aiming to increase monthly revenue to Rs 9 crore.

The fest is being jointly organised by SATYA, a non-profit organisation, in partnership with HospiHealth Consultants, and Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. The theme of this year’s event is ‘Impacting Education and Health through Innovative CSR Practices’.

According to police, the minor accused, a 17-year-old boy, is the mastermind behind this scam. He is currently in Dongri Children's Home.
