Santa Barbara County Fire CARPINTERIA, Calif. -- An injured paraglider was rescued from the mountains on Sunday in Carpinteria. At around 1:45 p.m., Carpinteria-Summerland Fire Protection District Firefighters responded to reports of a paraglider down.
