MPs now need to provide a declaration stating that they personally know and take responsibility for their guests. The handbook for Lok Sabha members states that MPs must fill out an application form for visitors, providing details such as name, age, nationality, and occupation. Failure to provide complete details may result in the visitor card not being issued.
