The Yolo County Fire Chief’s Association is honored to give its full endorsement and support to Mary Vixie Sandy for Yolo County Supervisor, 3rd district.

Earlier this week, the Yolo Subbasin Groundwater Agency (YSGA) received a generous $7.9 million funding grant from the Department of Water Resources that will go directly toward its local groundwater sustainability and resilience projects in Yolo County. 

The Yolo County Board of Supervisors recently received an update on the county’s proposed Diversity, Equity and Inclusion plan, which aims to create an inclusive environment within both the government and the community.

With countless family and friends present and past, current and future local elected officials also in attendance, Dr. Mary Vixie Sandy was ceremonially sworn in as the 3rd District representative for the Yolo County Board of Supervisors.

The Yolo County Board of Supervisors is pleased to announce that the formal swearing-in ceremony for Dr. Mary Vixie Sandy as Yolo County's 3rd District Supervisor is set for Monday, Oct. 23. at 4:30 p.m., at the Yolo County Administration Building Atrium, located at 625 Court St.

“I do believe that the community is split as to who might be the best representative,” said one Yolo County Supervisor.

“Supervisor Sandy’s untimely departure has left the Yolo County community and beyond in profound sorrow.”
