Volta Trucks is under new ownership of Luxor Capital

Volta Trucks will start to deliver vehicles before the end of the year, following its acquisition by Luxor Capital in late 2023.

Volta Trucks is preparing for a comeback in selected European markets under its new owner, Luxor Capital. The electric truck manufacturer aims to make its first deliveries to customers in Germany by the end of the year - followed by order processing in France, the UK and Scandinavia.

The operator also runs Maxus eDeliver9 electric vans

Darcica Logistics is trialling a fully electric HGV truck as it aims to reduce its carbon footprint.

Steyr Automotive has signed a deal with Volta Trucks to resume production of the Volta Zero.

Steyr Automotive is pleased to announce that an initial agreement for the continuation of the Volta Zero production has been signed.

Volta Trucks, which had been conducting customer trials across Europe, collapsed in October after struggling to secure funding due to problems with its battery supplier.
