PROMISE KEPT: Jim Eddleman donated 46 acres and substantial savings to create a wall to honor soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The Missouri National Veterans Memorial is located in Perryville, Mo. A retired butcher and Vietnam veteran helped build the memorial in Missouri.

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KFVS) - Fifteen honorably discharged veterans started a new program in class on Monday where they learned construction-type jobs.
This new program is a partnership between the Wake Foundation, Associated General Contractors of Missouri, Three Rivers College and the veterans to get job placement for these individuals.
