Walker Standardbreds horse stable was among the properties damaged by a tornado that touched down in central Illinois this past Friday evening (March 31). 

Fridays tornadoes damaged dozens of homes. More severe weather, including additional tornadoes, could be coming Tuesday, according to NWS.

The storm hit Sangamon County shortly before 6 p.m. Friday after moving through the Jacksonville area.

World champion trotter Southwind Chrome has been retired and will commence stallion duty in 2022.
