Its a hotspot for biodiversity โ rare plants, unique bird species, amphibians and snakes all thrive here. its so important ecologically, that there are plans to quadruple it in size. the only way to explore it is by foot. and for that youll need some serious legwear. so the forest is also home to bloodthirsty leeches, so i picked up these attractive antiโleech socks in the hopes that i make it out without any of them attached to my skin. ridma used to hike and swim in the forest as a child. ...

Sophisticated in the way weโre dealing with flood defences. or is that not case? i think were much more focused, i havenโt working on this for over 20 years and i do see that flooding is increasing. i think where we are managing cities and biker areas with flood defences, basically, for the people in rural areas and smaller areas, they are losing out because the government criteria does not match up to help those people. we need to look at that and see where we can help in these other areas ...
