New homebuilding remains at nearly a standstill this year in Henderson and Henderson County, but commercial construction caught fire in March.

The house in Olivia that was built for and lived in by Michael J. Dowling and his family might soon be on the market. A meeting was held in Olivia in March to see if there was any community support towards purchasing the home and turning it into something from which the entire community and region could benefit.

Clyde H. Vanoer Monday, May 17, 2021   Clyde was born on September 28, 1928 to the late Robert H. and Amanda C.
