KOTA KINABALU: It was a case of trying to rescue a friend that led to three children drowning in a pond at a construction site in Sabah's northern Kudat district.

KUDAT: Three young friends, including a girl, drowned while bathing in an artificial pond at Kg Perpaduan Ria, near here, Thursday.
