Chinese civil organization seeks return of looted relics
A Chinese civil group is putting pressure on Japan to return a pair of stone lions, precious relics looted 128 years ago from Northeast Chinas Liaoning Province and now located inside the Yasukuni Shrine, a temple that enshrines Japans infamous Class-A war criminals who symbolized Japans war atrocities and militarism during World War II.
