A Delta State High Court sitting in Effurun has dismissed the preliminary objection by Nigerian-American singer, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido and his company, Davido Music Worldwide Limited, challenging the jurisdiction of the court to hear and determine the breach of contract suit against him by Brownhill Investment Company Limited over the annual ‘Warri Again Concert’.

  Brownhill Investments Company Limited, the organisers of the annual “Warri Again Concert” has stated before a Delta High Court sitting in Effurun that Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, met its chairman, Amaju Pinnick, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, where he specially requested to perform at the mega event.  

Brownhill Investments Company Limited, the organisers of the annual “Warri Again Concert” has told a Delta High Court sitting in Effurun to ban Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, more commonly called Davido, from attending any show or event until he refunds $94,500 and $18,000 paid to him, according to the full court documents obtained by SaharaReporters.
