Horizon West residents voiced little opposition to a developer’s request to build a resort-style development with related amenities and retail uses.

The Orange County School Board approved the new name at its Tuesday, April 2, meeting.

The newest educational facility is being built in Horizon West to relieve overcrowding at Water Spring Elementary.

The community, if approved, would be built on a nine-acre tract on the south side of Horizon West.

It was a fun afternoon for the Otters as they enjoyed fun games, delicious food and live music during the 2023 Water Spring Elementary and Middle Schools Back to School carnival Saturday, Aug. 5.
