Buckeye Police officers are investigating, after a person reportedly fired off a shot outside a Walmart store in the West Valley city.

Buckeye is fast-growing city, and with that growth, infrastructure is needed to support it.

The alleged incident, according to earlier reports by Buckeye Police, reportedly happened on Nov. 23. Now, they say the incident did not happen at all.

“Investigators have been gathering information, conducting interviews, and reviewing surveillance footage to determine the facts of the case,” police said. “At this time, we do not believe there is a danger to the community.”
