He is survived by wife, Donna Schauer-Thiner; father, Francis Thiner; brother, Allen (Pam) Thiner; nephew, Justin (Amara) Thiner and their daughter (Adelyn), and nephew, Travis (Angela) Thiner and their daughter, Kenadie and son, Tayton. He was preceded in death by mother, Louella Thiner (Mielke) and brother, Russell Thiner.
