Seven years since winning NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest, Duluth musician Gaelynn Lea has played hundreds of gigs around the world, scored a Broadway play and become an influential advocate for disability awareness.

Duluths Gaelynn Lea enlisted friends to create an original score for Shakespeares play, starring Daniel Craig and Ruth Negga.

"What I think is super cool about music is we can all hear the same song and think of different things and feel different emotions," Lea told a class of fourth graders at Churchill Elementary on Tuesday.
