An East London-based pool contractor accused of shortchanging several of his clients reached out to the Dispatch this week asking to respond to the allegations levelled against him in the Weekend Dispatch.

The accreditation scandal at Walter Sisulu University (WSU) took a significant step this week when the university’s vice-chancellor, Prof Rushiella Songca, acknowledged in a senior management meeting the severity of the crisis and set up a task team to investigate the debacle.
