The FCC’s new fee rates for the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau went into effect. The fees for new site-based and amateur radio licenses are $95 and $35, respectively.

FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel testified before the House Energy and Commerce subcommittee and urged lawmakers to act quickly to reauthorize the FCC’s authority to conduct spectrum auctions.

Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel gave a speech in which she proposed funding a portion of the transition to Next Generation 911 services through proceeds from future spectrum auctions.

The FCC issued an Enforcement Advisory last week reminding telecommunications carriers and interconnected VoIP providers of their obligation to file their annual certification documenting compliance with the Customer Proprietary Network Information rules by March 1, 2022.
