PROVIDENCE, Ky.  — The Kentucky State Police are investigating a Monday bank robbery in Webster County. Officials said around 2:30 p.m. a man entered the Planters Bank in Providence wearing a hoodie and a mask and demanded money. He told bank employees he had a gun, authorities said. The man left the bank with an unspecified amount of money. He was last seen near Westerfield Drive in Providence.
