They say this golf course adds value to the neighborhood, and if the golf course is ultimately sold, the views here, the recreation it provides, all of that is at risk. And it would nturn, diminish their property values. However, the chairman says the golf course is not profitable and it is actually losing money. About 200,000 every year for golf operations. The property has been owned for about 30 years and it is now looking to get out of the golf business to focus on convention centers.
