The sunny, spring weather as of late is the perfect backdrop for enjoying an adult beverage on the patio. Wiley Roots Brewing Company will seize that opportunity starting noon Friday, April 12 with "Slush Day" at the brewery, 625 3rd St., Unit D, Greeley.

R.W. Collett doesn’t brew beer for acclaim, fame, awards, or to have his name in the brewing limelight. For him, it’s about making sure the people who drink it enjoy every sip just as much as he did creating it.   

Wiley Roots Brewing Company is kicking off a new holiday giveaway that coincides with the brewery’s annual Imperial Somethin’ release.

From festive live music to holiday open houses and more, this week’s edition of Go+Do has something to get everyone into the spirit of the season.

This week’s list includes a chocolate festival to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth, an appearance from comedian and actor Rob Schneider, an author meet and greet and much more. Check out these 21 events set to take place in Greeley, Fort Collins, Cheyenne and around northern Colorado for the week of Sept. 16-22.

In celebration of Oktoberfest, Wiley Roots is hosting Kölschfest from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9 at 625 Third St., Unit D in Greeley. Attendees age 21 and older can try three different variants of the unique beer — an original base, grapefruit and peach.

This week is filled with some fun and exciting events, including Father’s Day, the beginning of the Greeley Stampede, a motorcycle show and carnival and much more for all ages. So get off your couch and out of the house to check out these 22 events taking place the week of June 17-23 in and around NoCo.

The Mint Julep — darling of Kentucky bourbon makers and the cocktail linked to the venerated American horse race, the first of the Triple Crown championship that celebrates oversized hats, pampered 3-year-old thoroughbreds, drinking culture and lots of money — owes its continued existence to ice, something we twenty-first century folks generally take for granted.

And in a blink of an eye, we are down to the last days of April. Don’t let this month pass you by without doing something fun with your family, friends, partner or even solo. This week’s edition of Go+Do features quite the variety of events, including author talks in Windsor and Fort Collins, a performance from musician Aaron Lewis in Cheyenne, several Cinco de Mayo celebrations and much more for the week of April 29 to May 5.
