PLANS for Will’s Playground in Newcastle continue to gather pace, with a recently held dog show helping to raise additional funds for the project.

A ‘Colour Run’ in aid of Will’s Playground, in Newcastle, took place on Saturday, September 2 and was, well, in a word, colourful.

Following his sold-out performance at Malahide Castle at the end of June, Wicklow’s Hozier has announced an extra Dublin show at 3Arena on December 20 due to phenomenal demand.

Having just announced a major headline tour which will see him perform at venues across Europe in November, Newcastle resident Hozier had one important date on his busy schedule which he said was an “honour” to attend.
