IN THIS week’s trip down West Fife’s Memory Lane we look at Moodie Street, an old thoroughfare that once linked the main part of Dunfermline with the Nethertown (or lower town) area of Dunfermline, as described in 1723: "The burgh (Dunfermline) is divided into an upper town and a lower town, having the Palace garden and park in the middle."
