If you take a look, you can see just how close they are to this building. Ive learned this is part of an escalating scene of fires in this neighborhood. A construction site. A real estate firm. Flames have erupted in all of it. At nighttime, you dont know whats going on. With at least 8 suspicious fires in less than three weeks. Someone thinks theyre doing minimal damage by lighting some dump certificates on fire. Obviously, it can lead to more. Reporter some have been dumpster fires, like the last two blazes last night. Garbage was set on fire at first and folsom, and less than a block away. We believe those incidents are related. Reporter San Franciscos Arson Task Force is investigating. Combing over surveillance images to try to catch the firebug before he or she strikes again. So far, theres been no significant damage, but as investigators tell me, the arsonist is getting bolder. A vehicle fire at the bay bridge toll plaza this morning turned out to be deliberately set. Witnesses say it was the driver who set his own pickup truck on fire. Good afternoon im tori campbell. Reporter good afternoon, now chp did not tell us that the man set his own truck on fire but witnesses sure did. They took pictures. Apparently the man got off his on the bridge and torched him own truck. This is whats left of the pickup after witnesses say a man set it on fire. A man in the pickup truck was reported unresponsive and blocking a lane. Witnesses say the man dressed in a dark shirt and camouflage pants got out of the truck and was seen running through several lanes with a gas can. Soon the white ford pickup truck was on fire. Several lanes were blocked. And the man had been detained by a Homeland Security officer. He was able to detain the driver
Intersection. Their son Armando Carranza said he was going todd movies movies going to the movies. The next thing they know, they were getting a visit from the coroners office. Sure enough i read it and it said coroners office, i said no. I love him so much and, just knowing hes not at the house anymore, not seeing his face. This is like the longest ive not seen him. Reporter last thursday, just after midnight, carranza was a passenger in the car with three other men believed to be his friend. A handgun in the car went off. Carronzo was dropped off at the hospital. At this point it seems like they may have been handling the gun and they did not know the gun was loaded. Reporter its not believed that it was gang related.
