The Willmar Planning Commission on Wednesday approved the conveyance of the former Rice Care Center property to Cura, recommending that the purchase agreement includes a provision that it is run as a care facility for a minimum of five years.
The city attorney said Monday that the Willmar City Council will not take action April 15 when two public hearings on the sale of city-owned property to Cura are scheduled. The required ordinances are not ready.
