Hello again, everyone, thanks for joining me. Im frederica whitfield. An intense battle is raging in the northwest has firefighters try to beat back a series of wildfires in three states now. Residents in idaho, Washington State and california have been forced to evacuate and at least 50 homes in idaho alone have now been destroyed. Cnns nick valencia is following all of it. Scary stuff. Scary stuff. Those folks in the northwest could use a major break. Dozens of wildfires raging all across the united states. Fredricka was talking about it. Nowhere harder hit than in the northwest, washington, oregon and idaho. This weekend, hundreds of firefighters working around the clock to protect people and property from these fastmoving flames. Against a majestic mountainous backdr backdrop, the flames rage, forcing evacuations in chellin county, washington. I was outrunning flames at 60 miles an hour.
